"I would do just about anything you'd ask,
For you there's nothing I wouldn't do, there's no such task.
I would walk without my shoes to the end of the Earth,
I would give up anything I had to, to teach you self worth.
I would hold your hand every minute of every day,
But I won't because I know you need to find your own way.
I would surely bear the heartache of your first love that's real,
Even though I can't, I will naturally feel as you feel.
I would sell my soul if it would keep you happy forever,
I would give my right arm to keep us forever together.
I would run a hundred miles up-hill in the rain,
Just to guarantee that you will never feel pain.
I would laugh with you even if I was sad,
I will give you a smile even if I'm mad.
I can only accept your mistakes with a grin on my face,
I will guide you in correcting them, but at your own pace.
I will guide you through life, as this world can get quite wild,
Just don't you ever forget that you will always be my child"
My name is Julianna DeJesus, I was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. I graduated from Furness High School in June 2009 and ever since then I've been on a quest to find my purpose. It's been quite a rocky road, full of setbacks and painful lessons but throughout it all I've managed to remain hopeful and confident that I would one day be walking the path to fulfill my true destiny.
This website was originally created about a year ago, September, 2016 to be exact, as an online portfolio project, Iv'e recently decided to re launch it as a blog spot to share some of my experiences and thoughts on things that are close to my heart.
With everything that's unfolding in our world today it's becoming more and more evident that now more then ever before is the time for EVERYONE to step up and allow their voices to be heard. No matter how big, how small or how insignificant we may feel our voices and opinions are at times, I want everyone to understand how powerful our voices always have and always will be.
Unity is something that we desperately lack in so many of our communities, unity among both our men and our women, it's this same lack of unity that has caused so many of us to believe that we are alone in our desires to bring about a much needed change to this world. There are way too many different causes and resources available for anyone to not be involved. The amount of hatred in this world is becoming way to overpowering and It's causing so many to fall victim and loose sight of their true purpose which is to give love, love to ourselves, love to our fellow human being and most importantly love to the world which holds us all as a whole.
